Crans-Montana 2027: FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, 1–14 February
- Crans-Montana hosts the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships from 1 to 14 February 2027. The race programme and tickets are on the organiser's site, cransmontana2027.ch.
- During the Championships the organiser restricts access by car: there is no spectator parking in Crans-Montana, vehicles need a badge to enter some areas, and two roads are closed (Etoile roundabout – Aminona, 1–14 February from 06:00 to 15:00; Plumachit / Nationale, 1–14 February from 06:00 to 16:00). The rules for the resort centre were still to be published when we checked.
- Spectators are asked to come to Sierre; from there the funicular and the organiser's shuttles run to Crans-Montana free of charge.
- So we drive you to your hotel in Crans-Montana when the access rules of the day allow it, and otherwise to Sierre, for the funicular or a shuttle. We check the rules before your ride. If the drop-off point has to change, we tell you in advance.

The road to Crans-Montana
Crans-Montana lies 15 km above Sierre. We drive via Bern and Lake Geneva into the Rhône valley, or take the Lötschberg car train when it is faster; then up from Sierre to the resort.
From‑prices: Comfort Sedan for up to 3 passengers, one way.
- In winter some passes close. We take the open roads and, where it is faster, the car trains (for example Lötschberg into Valais). Car-train, tunnel and toll fees are included in your price.
- In winter, every car runs on winter tyres. 4x4 vehicles and snow chains are available.
- Reach us 24/7 once your ride is confirmed: +41 76 218 98 64, phone or WhatsApp.
- If a road is closed, we look for another route and check official information. If there is none, we wait with you until it reopens or, if you prefer, drive you to the nearest train station and help you buy your ticket. You are never left on your own. A detour or waiting because of a road closure costs you nothing extra.
- Snow and traffic can add time; we don't promise a fixed winter travel time.
